Kevin Huntsman began his Chem-Dry journey in 1994, making the big move from Alaska to Colorado to join Academy Chem-Dry as a technician. Just three years later, opportunity came knocking—Kevin was offered the chance to purchase Chem-Dry of Colorado Springs. Eager to take the leap into self-employment, he embraced the challenge and never looked back.

For over two decades, Kevin has taken pride in delivering the kind of results you can see and feel right away, earning the trust and loyalty of customers throughout the community. His philosophy is simple: do it right the first time, every time.

When he’s not hard at work, you’ll find Kevin unwinding with a good movie or exploring Colorado’s mountain trails on his ATV, enjoying the beauty of the state he now calls home.

Amy Huntsman

Fill-in Office Staff

Amy Huntsman, Kevin’s wife of 34 years and proud mother of their two children, plays an important—if often reluctant—role in the Chem-Dry of Colorado Springs business. Always ready to step in when needed, Amy keeps things running smoothly in the office when needed, even while pursuing her own successful career in real estate.

Her passion for homes began in 2000, when she bought and flipped her very first property. That project sparked love for the process, leading her to launch her own company– AK Investment Group– where she continues to buy, renovate, and sell homes with an eye for detail and value.

When she’s not negotiating deals or giving old houses new life, Amy enjoys hiking Colorado’s scenic trails, challenging herself with a good jigsaw puzzle, and treasure hunting at her favorite store—Discount Goodwill.

Trevor Huntsman

Lead Carpet Technician

Trevor Huntsman, the youngest child of Kevin and Amy, has proudly served as a carpet technician with Chem-Dry of Colorado Springs for the past decade. Learning from one of the best—his father, a 5-star Master Carpet Technician—Trevor spent years honing his skills, working his way up to become a respected 4-star Lead Technician.

His mission is simple: to leave every customer with carpet that looks and feels as fresh as the day it was installed. Over the years, Trevor’s dedication and attention to detail have earned him the trust and appreciation of countless clients.

When he’s off the clock, Trevor trades in his work tools for handlebars, enjoying the thrill of riding one of his five motorcycles along Colorado’s scenic highways or tackling challenging dirt biking trails in the mountains and the racetrack.

Wesley Carter

Carpet Technician

Wesley Carter, a recent graduate of Air Academy High School, joined the Chem-Dry of Colorado Springs team not out of family ties, but simply because he thinks carpet cleaning is fun. In the days leading up to graduation, Wesley was on the hunt for a hands-on job when he spotted a listing for Chem-Dry—and the rest is history.

Wesley is eager to keep learning and working toward his ultimate goal: earning the title of 5-star Master Technician. His determination and enthusiasm are already making a strong impression on customers.

When asked what he wishes people knew about him, Wesley says he’s friendly and “occasionally funny”—though most customers would say he’s selling himself short.

Outside of work, you’ll find him mountain biking, playing video games, or enjoying a good round of Magic: The Gathering with friends.

Dani Whitaker

Office Staff

Dani Whitaker, a 2023 graduate of CSU Pueblo, spent months searching for the perfect marketing role before discovering an opportunity with Chem-Dry of Colorado Springs. Drawn to the idea of helping a trusted local business grow, she joined the team in May and has been putting her skills to work ever since.

Her sights are set on a clear goal—to help the franchise reach new highs in revenue through creative, effective marketing strategies.

When she’s not crafting campaigns, Dani enjoys escaping to Colorado’s beautiful open spaces for a weekend of camping or gathering with friends for an imaginative game of Dungeons & Dragons.
