Carpet Cleaning Service Policy

Available Services:

Preparation for Your Scheduled Cleaning:

  1. Pets should be secured before our arrival.
  2. Please move vehicles from the driveway or garage if access is needed during the cleaning appointment.
  3. Ensure driveways and sidewalks are clear of snow, debris, or fragile items.
  4. Furniture moving is not included in standard service pricing. Customers may remove furniture before service, or additional fees may apply if furniture is moved during cleaning.
  5. For carpet stretching services, all furniture must be removed from the work area before service begins.

Fees / Costs:

  1. Only services listed on the work order are included in the quoted price. Additional services may result in added charges.
  2. Most cleaning services are priced by square footage, and area pricing may vary depending on room size and conditions.
  3. Furniture Moving: $10–$20 per item if moved during the carpet cleaning appointment.
  4. On-site consultation without service: $250.00
  5. Travel fee: $250.00 (waived when cleaning service is performed during the same visit)
  6. Consultation for damage or insurance claims: $250 per hour
  7. Heavily soiled areas, specialty stain treatments, or pet-related concerns may require additional products, labor, or charges.
  8. Flood, urine, coffee, tea, wine, and oil conditions may require restorative cleaning services at additional cost.
  9. Returned payments or NSF transactions may result in additional collection fees, late fees, returned check fees, and removal of discounts.
  10. Blood, feces, and vomit cleanup may require additional handling fees.

Pre-Cleaning Inspection: Technician Will

  1. Review the quantity of rooms, stairs, and any requested specialty services.
  2. Measure rooms from wall to wall regardless of furniture placement.
  3. Discuss any concerns including spills, odors, heavy soil, or visible wear.
  4. Review any changes to the work order or pricing before work begins.
  5. Collect payment upon completion of service unless other arrangements have been made in advance.
  6. Confirm payment arrangements for absentee or third-party customers before arrival.

Post Cleaning: Customer Should

  1. Avoid walking on carpet until dry whenever possible.
  2. Understand that service outcomes may vary depending on carpet condition, level of soiling, and services selected.
  3. Be aware that drying times vary based on carpet condition, humidity, airflow, and cleaning method used.
  4. Allow sufficient time for Pet Urine Removal Treatment (P.U.R.T.) applications to complete the recommended treatment process.
  5. Review workmanship coverage and service details for paid services at the time of appointment.

Rug Cleaning and Storage Policy

  • Drop-off and pickup appointments must be scheduled in advance.
  • Routine rug cleaning is recommended as part of regular maintenance. Results may vary depending on rug condition, age, and level of soiling.
  • Basic or maintenance cleaning services are different from restorative cleaning services. Only services listed on the work order will be performed.
  • Restorative cleaning or repair services may require additional authorization due to the nature of the work being performed.
  • Services such as pre-treatment, protectant application, P.U.R.T., stain treatment, fringe work, and repairs are priced separately.
  • Some rug fringes or backings may contain permanent discoloration or wear that cannot be fully corrected through cleaning.
  • Only double-sided rugs will be cleaned on both sides when agreed upon in advance. Additional charges may apply for two-sided cleaning.
  • Customers acknowledge that cleaning results may vary depending on rug condition, fiber type, dyes, and prior damage.
  • Completed rugs should be picked up within 72 hours of notification. Storage fees of $5 per day per rug may apply unless other arrangements are made in advance.
